Shubman Gill made his first-class debut for Punjab in the 2017-18 Ranji Trophy season. He had an impressive debut season, scoring 214 runs in just three matches. He continued to perform consistently and garnered attention with his exceptional batting skills.


Under-19 Career:

Gill represented India in the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in 2018. He played a crucial role in India's victorious campaign, finishing as the tournament's highest run-scorer with 372 runs. He was also named the Player of the Tournament for his outstanding performances.
